UnFit Start-Up Kit

This is the coaching program that brings you through your first 4-6 weeks, approaching a new level of fitness. You are taught how to begin to move from where you are, with whatever limitations you are dealing with, to an improved state of fitness - safely.  The UnFit Start-Up Kit includes the following:

Body Assessment

Every body holds itself differently, with idiosyncrasies that define its current state. The Body Assessment serves to educate us both.  I learn about your body's history, challenges and current state.  You get advised about anything specific to your body that should be addressed and incorporated as you approach the video lessons and begin your journey. toward better mobility.

Tool Kit

The UnFit Start-Up Kit is designed so that the tools and props that you need are delivered right to your door. As with any tool kit, the goal is to provide you functional tools and nothing that you don't need. These items have been chosen based on their historical effectiveness in teaching movement principles essential to your progress.

Video Lessons

You are provided with a new video lesson, approximately every 3-4 days.  Each lesson assigns you skills to practice, often with feedback sheets with which to tract your progress. The videos are designed to educate you but can be used as guides to use as you practice, so that you always have a framework to keep you accountable to yourself and your Start-Up journey.

1:1 Support Sessions

These are your private coaching sessions to address any concerns, questions or challenges you have encountered during your learning and practice. The goal of the UnFit Start-Up Kit is to teach, guide, nurture and support you to a better state of comfort with your body, The 1:1 Support Session is our time to do just that--support you.  We may also develop recommended practices specific to YOU.
